One huge reason why i wanted to start eighty8 clothing, was Character Concepts. I thought it was the coolest shit ever to see how certain people reacted over a fake fictional character. For Instance brian from family guy, a real life dog that is treated like a human, dates human woman, and just overall cool. But as your watching the show you never question the fact that he is a dog, you just think its cool. So next time you think of eighty8 think characters, think of chester que a reblious pot head, who just happens to be a teddy bear. Ooo yea i also think the jay and sliet bob movement is also amazing. And the funniest thing about character concepts, the person behind the character is probably nothing like person there pretending to be. What ever i love chester and eighty8

So not to long ago, a good friend of mine, did a interview of me and eighty8 clothing, and the questions she was asking me actually got me thinking. Like if you could work with anyone in the world who would it be and why, and your inspirations   and what does Eighty8 mean, you know stuff like that. And all of my inspirations and even the reason why i started eighty8 has to come from character and logo concepts. I think i feel in love with the fact of people falling in love with individual fictional character and logos. I also just fell in love with cool shit if that isn't to broad but these 5 companies would for sure be the companies i would love to do work with, johnny cupcakes, marvel, the boondocks and Maestro Knows. And if it wasn't the cupcake logo or the or Johnath manion video from Masetro knows or Huey from the boondocks or even wolverine from the x men, that made me fall in love with concepts it was the fact that i could create my own, and i hopefully make someone fall in love with Eighty8 and chester.

A few months ago, i was a little on edge, i mean i was starting at UWM, and over here at the eighty8 head quarters i just couldn't get things to happen the way i wanted them to. So I called lamarr the A&R and marketing director for eighty8, and told him i wanted to Quit, making excuses saying all this stuff. He just hung up and ended up sending me this video on my iphone, and if u havent clicked play yet click that shit and tell me what u think.
